Port hardy to Prince Rupert ferry ride 0 miles ridden

Last night I went to bed early preparing for the early start of the ferry trip. I slept until about 1:00 in the morning and then got up at 3:00 getting my stuff packed for the trip. By 5:30 I was ready to go and we made it to the ferry before 6:00 and got our place in line, it seemed like forever before they let us ride on.

We finally got on about 7:00 and I got my bike strapped down. David got put in a weird spot and had a hard time getting the bike tied down and keep the door behind him clear. He found a way to get it done though and got his bike secured for the trip. We spent a lot of time tying the bikes down but the seas were expected to be calm and the weather was nice in Port hardy.

The scenery was definitely nice but not as nice as normal due to the weather.

It seemed like there was a waterfall every mile..

Those killer whales are quick. This was the best I could do getting a pic. They would pop up for a breath and then be gone.

We finally got into Prince Rupert about 10:30 at night  after the 15 hour ferry ride and drove over to Port Edward and set up our tents in the pouring rain.
